I don't have the switching costs from the UP to the CSX, sorry. You can see by my above post that Baltimore is one of our more expensive destinations, the UP doesn't like to ship east and you incure those switch costs. Undoubtably neIL will have a tremendous advantage in frt. to the east coast over most of us here on the west side of the MS river. IF Kankakee is served by more than 1 RR, all the better for the shipper as they can play one against the other.

Guess my point above was, that the reported info from Mr. Weinzierl of a $0.50+ per bushel advantage, you'd have to put ETOH into Baltimore for <1 cent. A more realistic corn premium for equal profits may be $.14-.35 per bushel.

Keep those pins in the map long enough, and they may turn into ethanol plants. I'm pretty sure you'll have one soon, ~56 miles down the road. And evidently Kankakee has many positves; hench, all the stick pins.
