68340 | I am up here in SE/SC Nebr.
I am putting wheat in after corn on irr. pivots.
It will prob go in Oct 15- Nov 5th. I am planning on 80-100 bu wheat irr. and 40 bu dry land corners.
Needs a lot of Phos. to get that done.
I am having it custom drilled, ($14/a) on 7 1/2 inch spacing and will band 5-52-0 to get my phos up if soil test say so.
You can cut fert rate in 1/2 with a band application instead of broadcasting.
Nitrogen will mostly go on next spring and maybe some through the pivot.
You only want about 15 pounds of N with the seed, maybe it is only 10 pounds.
I plan on using 1/2 rate of Headliner in late March or early spring when I do my weed control with nitrogen.
Then another full rate at flag leaf with airplane.
Plant 100 lbs of seed/a irr.
Planting part of the field to Jagaline, Wesley, and Secret Blend.
