Seldom do we see an operators manual as informative as a New Holland, and even their repainted foreign purchase not full of good information.

I happen to like a very slight forward tilt to the rotor head. That just may be an odd thing about me and not a valid observation. It is my thought when the rake is moving forward most of the tilt is gone.

Too bad they did not cover the ground speed and rotor speed trade off. On a thin stand I would use a slower ground speed and have the rotor spinning above 350 RPM. On a good heavy stand I would increase the ground speed and slow the rotor speed.

You will be able to judge effective speeds and come up with your own methods.
