Subject: RE: Sprouting corn

Palestine Illinois
We have noticed a lot of sprouting on the ear. Currently we are picking around 22% corn and do not notice it in the grain tank sample, but wlak throught the field and it is there. So my question is with the moisture in the husks what will the ears look like when the corn field drys to 15%? Does the dry down moisture leave the ear or just feed the sprouts?
