Middle TN

We were a month late getting started because of rain, or at least the forecast of rain. First cutting made well over 100 bales per acre, but like I said, it had an extra month of growth. Turned off dry...second cutting was decent...third cutting was terrible...fourth cutting even worse (5-10 bales/acre)...time to start fifth but it's not worth the fuel it would take to cut it.  Beans made about 38.

My new seeding of 357HQ looks great, so there's always next year.

If anyone has some alfalfa to sell let me know.  [email protected]

Did you all have too much rain?
