Ed, we've been doing beans for maybe 10 years now (whenever Freedom to Farm was inacted) and they just never have been the ideal crop for us, either the old problem of too green of stems to cut when the seed is dry (which is what we are doing now) or they just plain don't do well and it is just slow going in them. For me, wheat and corn are the best in terms of harvestability. Milo isn't bad either but you always have the drydown issue with them.
