Northern Illinois | I have been using 11% soy-diesel for two years. For the last five days I have been combining green-stem beans with my 9500 combine. My engine rpm's have been dropping from 30 to 100 rpm's with 11% soy-diesel. At 2 p.m. in the afternoon I put in a full tank of straight diesel fuel and within three acres my rpm's only varied 20 to 30 and I'm driving faster. I purposely made an unscientific test in the afternoon rather than the first beans I ran in the day. Has anyone else showed lack of power with the 11% diesel? | |
