underground elect lines used to be a bad word in these parts...Now we pay more attention to laying them and haven't had ANY troubles with them...worse thing to do is use a trenching machine going through rought fill such as concrete and gravel...need to backfill with a little sand to insulate the wire covering from the sharp object down hole.

Fill sand also got us out of the anual job of fixing water leaks around the truck drive way during freezing and thawing of winter...Just that little cushion.
