| I found the article as it was talking about the "AGCO Entrepreneurs' Forum 2006 in Germany". My understanding of this forum was talking about European Brands - Fendt, Massey, CAT and Valtra and their distribution into Germany. Massey has the largest distribution in the world in 144 countries and very,very strong in Europe. Fendt is number 1 in Germany and 2nd in France. Valtra is the dominate tractor in the Scandinvian countries, CAT has a world wide distribution network. This press release was talking about Germany, not North America market.
AGCO's corporate focus in North America is the three cornerstones: AGCO Brand, MF and Challenger with Fendt and Valtra as speciality tractors to compliment the cornerstone brands. This is what we were told at St Louis was AGCO's direction for North America. The North American Distribution is seperate from the rest of the world.
