Now that is one of the best explanations I have ever read here on NAT!

Makes sense to me...

4.5 was really full season this unusual year, 3.9 about right, 3-3.5 better suited for fall cereal plantings....

The fungicides increase yield but also increased maturity time...

A few miles does make a difference!
