East Central Arkansas | I just replaced the rear wheel plantary gear drive on my 6500 sprayer with a new one and I noticed the hyd drive motor is leaking. The old gear drive locked up and I replaced with a new unit . New unit was a little over $2000 and parts to repair old one over $1300. When I removed hyd motor I noticed I have a leak from around the shaft on it. I guess the motor was probally damaged when the gear drive locked up. This is a Sauer Sundstrand motor. Does anyone have experience repairing these motors or would I be better off buying a new one?
