Clinton Minnesota | This was a roto disc and the combine handled it just fine at 5 miles per hour. It had a direct drive installed. The geringhoff is not speed sensitive like the lawn mower headers. As long as you have the horse power and a good header drive you will not be slowed down picking corn. The broken drive shafts is a new one on me I haven't seen that problem around here so I tend to think it was something wrong with that particular header. Like i said we have sold lots of them and they are very trouble free as long as the combine is configured properly. | |
