Slicker than a Yes album.
We've been on tracks since 2003 for planting and spraying. One reason was so our 120" sprayer only ran down one set of beans, as opposed to 4 with a tractor. (we drill all our beans.) It also was due to the fact that Deere had autosteer in tracks only then.
We run about 10 mph in the field spraying, the auto steer has a tough time keeping it on 30" rows above that. The ride is pretty good through the field, we have a 3 pt fast sprayer and mounted tanks. It will start to bob up and down, but you slow down a bit and it goes away.
Even tracking was one reason we went away from a pull type sprayer. It drifted too much even on small hills and ran down the corn. Plus, we had some boom issues that were due to the "whip" effect of the tractor. Nothing a little welding wouldn't fix!

Ours are on 120" spacing and we don't have too much of a problem with berming. I do notice it in the trucks in the fall, but it isn't too bad. Not sure if I'd want to go back to wheels.
