Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
I remember the last series 30B-60B being built by someone else near the Hesston operation in Kansas.,but marketed through Hesston. By that time the round balers about owned the market and they sold very few. We still have a few dealers that can get parts. We still keep an old 60A around to pick up flax straw in the odd weedy year when the stripper header will not work and we need to swath flax. This fall we used it to clean cat tails out of dry potholes that have not been dry since 88-89.
If you were within a mile or two of your hay supply,it was a machine where one tractor and operator could pick, condition, stack, transport and unload in the hay lot,30 tons of good quality hay in a day. A hard system to beat in the right conditions. When we had cattle, and now for field cleanup,we used a 30,30A and 60A from 72 untill today.
