Wisconsin | Those limits are for employment income, W2. If he ever got a 1099 or even paid cash exceeding $600/year, he needed to file. Whether they can prove it, or whether they care is another question. If he had legitimate income before that he had paid taxes on and saved to live off of, then he may be fine. If he never paid enough, got behind with the IRS, then started working for cash only, they'll get him. | |
