The way that Hertz used to have their charging on return set up, I don't think I would have rented one because the last thing a traveler needs is to be worrying about charging your car before turning it in. Looks like they might have come to their senses a little bit on that policy because it has been changed. Now, they will charge a $35 flat fee if the car is returned with less than the charge it had when you rented it. If your return has more than that, the charge is $0 and if you have a free gold key membership, then the fee is $25. Not sure if Hertz has Model Ys, but a Y would be my third choice, with the 3 coming in last. My list would be X, S, Y, and 3, in that order.
