Subject: RE: Ayrstone wifi extenders

I have Ayrstone and am not impressed. It worked only sporadically at best when I got it. I called customer service and they had me try different things but nothing helped. Finally the receiver burned out. Customer service, once I convinced them it was burned out, said that must be what was wrong. They shipped a new receiver (shipments from them took a week to get) but the system was still off and on at any given time, night or day. I was told that my antenna and receiver were too close at 100’ and that my Ethernet cables must be bad. After more troubleshooting they finally determined the antenna must be bad, admitting that they’d had issues with them. Waited another week for a new one and now it works pretty good. I still get 10 to 30 minute random outages. At one time I told them I wanted my money back. I wish they had taken me up on that. For what it costs, it should be flawless.
