So you just want to not use the dj monitor, and use this other one on the planter instead? I know things about the Dickey John but not the other.
A Dickey John has a different pin out to the planter for your main 8 v and ground. I think pin 24 and 26. Deere is 27 and 28. I think, I’d have to look. All the tube wires are the same. On the Dickey John you set up the monitor for the planter such as 12 row 30 in.
I think if you have a row not hooked up it will give a fail unless you change the planter configuration. Like if you cut an 8 row down to a 6 row 7 and 8 would fail. Or 1 and 8 if you took a unit off of both ends. You’d have to move your harness wires down a row or change pins in plug but then your colors would be off.
You can usually have ag express make adapters to use different monitor. They can make complete harness too.


So if a guy stuck with the PM300, is there any way to use the twin row bar harness on a single row application? basically "shutting off" the unused rows?
