The results are what I would expect. More cover equals cooler soil temps so slower emergence.
It also shows why we’re reluctant in drier areas to do cover crops. They take moisture we usually don’t have any extra of. And then there is not the moisture to either bring a crop up or the crop runs out of moisture sooner later on.
