2 local buyers here have told us there is still 40% of grain or so in the farmers hands. If that is anywhere close to true basis is only going to go one way from here.
Personally have a hard time believing it but the one buyer especially has been very good to us, no reason to really lie because he knows we are basically sold out of old crop.
So according to the buyer there is plenty out there. You probably better let him have what you got left then.
And the annual game is on…..kinda early though. |
