NY vehicle laws require inspection every year. Check engine light is instant failure. Code is evap and catalytic converter.
Thing runs fine and gets 15-17 mpg. It’s the 4.8 v8.
I’ve tried running juice in the gas tank to that’s supposed to clean the cat to no avail
The things a rust bucket on its last legs that I’m not pouring money into but it runs to good to give up on until the frame folds up.
Would running some E85 possibly clean it up enough to get the light to stay out long enough to sneak it by the computer? |
