South eastern South Dakota | Yes do this, Make a video, have someone in the video walk through every room while you film, like a host. Have them open every drawer, talk about what's in there. Video pictures on the wall, chairs rugs, everything in the room. Have conversation with the person in front of the camera, discuss every object, make it fun as you go through all the rooms snooping in the closets and drawers and vanities. Leave no spot un-filmed. Don't forget basement and attics. Might be an hour long video if you are thorough. Make 3 copies, so easy with our computers. Keep 1 copy in the house in case of theft, keep 1 copy in an out building in case of fire, and keep 1 copy at a trusted relative's place in a spot you both know about. If you have out buildings like all farmers do, video the stuff in them too, shop, machine shed, un-attached garage, livestock buildings, etc. costs nothing but a couple hours. |
