Too late now but a good reminder for everyone is to do a walk through of your house, shop, barns and all buildings and take pictures of everything that is there. It gives a good visual reference of the amount of stuff that is there in content. Take specific pictures of high value, or irreplaceable type things.

In the case of a total loss those pictures or video will help you remember just what all was there. Hard to remember it all when it's a pile of ash.

Video is better IMHO, you can talk about what you looking at, model, size, etc. Make two copies, put both of them offsite in different places.
. This!! Retired Fire Chief here. I have been involved in burning homes for almost 30 years. Documents is best. Most people keep receipts in file cabinet. Guess what, they will burn up also. Scan all major documents, email them to your self. Make videos with your iPhone, send em to your email. You can access your email anywhere. Walk through entire house/premises with details on video. State what you’re looking at with the brand name, etc. Record your smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, etc. Best to have replacement in insurance. Because if your good old deep freezer is 40 years old and performs better than a new one. They are supposed to replace it. Video every bit of contents as I said .
