Ham hocks make the absolute best ham and beans. I put hocks in crock pot before bed half submerged in water. Soak beans same time. In the morning pull hocks debon qube up. Fry onions in butter and throw it all back in crock to cook for the day. Ready for supper. My deer group always raves and requests it at least once a year.
