Fruita CO | "Here", the Schwan's trucks disappeared with the Rona lockdown. Don't know why really, the Schwan's man never came closer than the mandated 6 foot limit anyway***...maybe they used the pandemic as an excuse to shut down. I used them for over 20 years, not so much ice cream as other stuff. The potato wedges were good...
After the trucks disappeared, they offered internet orders, but the website was hard to navigate, I ordered once & the quality of the delivered stuff wasn't as good as off the truck. Haven't seen a "Yelloh" truck anywhere but the commercials...stupid name anyway...
The city of Grand Junction has an ordinance banning door-to-door sales, so Schwan's couldn't go there, had to keep to the outlying areas. Their base was here in Fruita. | |
