West Chazy, New York | Way back when I lived in Pennsylvania, they had a good trade. The driver told me that it was company policy to source as much of the ice cream as possible from a plant and with milk produced in the state in which it was sold. They required solids that were considerably higher than the legal minimums, and their main business was four and six quart tubs of ice cream. The last time I saw their brochure, the focus was all on frozen foods, and the ice cream was mostly half gallon boxes. Their prices were high, even factoring in that it was delivered. |
