I second the Navigator's system or starter packet. I used it when I was much younger. I still have the cards but don't review them as much as I would like.
It helps me to write the verses out on a card like was mentioned above. Writing them out and also saying them out loud really help me memorize. Praise the Lord for His gift of the Bible to us!
