i don't know what your budget is but for what your doing i would consider an integra for about the same money before i would buy an 800. it will do everything you need and have room for expansion down the line. used integras seem to be bringing 2-2500 and i have a new incommand 800 for sale for $2950, im unsure you will find one for less than that. on top of that you will need the unlocks as out of the box the 800 has nothing unlocked. i believe you will need autoswath and iso unlocks and at old prices you would be looking at $1500 and probably closer to $2000 now.
as you suspected once the display is unlocked the unlocks stay with that display, if your looking for a smaller display then a versa would possibly work pretty good for you. i have seen them for around $900 used. just ask questions and ensure that it has the unlocks you need. | |
