Subject: RE: 335 Magnum Autosteer Wonders Back and Forth

Along with the 335, we had a 215 from the FACTORY that seesawed back and forth.

It would plant pretty straight rows, but the front of the tractor was CONSTANTLY weaving.

Our Dealer guy spent hours and HOURS troubleshooting it. After going back and forth with his higher ups (warranty) for quite a while he FINALLY convinced them to change the steering sensor.

He suspected it from the beginning, but could not definitively prove the sensor was bad, because it would calibrate and steer, just seesaw.

The sensor fixed it, and it ran with it until we traded the tractor some years later.

It's your money, but based on your symptoms and what you described it's doing, I'd have an AutoSense and cables on the way by now.
