Subject: RE: High moisture corn for beef

Northern New York
Thanks.
Yes, I do work with a nutritionist.
Company I work with provided a nutritionist who was very set on purchased grains and lots of dry shelled corn only, nothing else would work.
I learned on my first group that the feed company made out great, me not so much.
He has since retired and new guy seems much more open to using what I have available and feeding more economically.

Reason for my question was because my first guy was adamant that high moisture corn and corn silage was a hard no. Wouldn't hear otherwise.

I imagine a bunch of cattle have been finished over the years on corn silage and high moisture corn but thought I would ask here.

Thanks again.
