Subject: Standard of care

Pittsburg, Kansas
What you say about standard of care is true.

Doctors working for a large medical establishment can get in real hot water for going off the standard of care protocols for their particular institutions.

That is one reason we like our own family physician. He is independent. Works for no one but himself and his patients. He had no problem prescribing ivermectin when we requested. He was not sure it would help at that time but knew it was safe because he had prescribed it for children many times for other conditions and saw no potential harm in using it.

Had he worked for a large medical establishment they might have had instructions in place so he could not have made that doctor/patient judgement decision.
