Nebraska | We winter them with the special needs(gimpy, granny, and for sale) cows because we need to be in two groups at least anyway for stalk fields. We have wintered them all together when the herd was smaller and would still if we were a smaller herd. So it depends on what size herd you want to have in one bunch. Not worth extra time choring and checking if your total herd is less than about 100 in my opinion. | |
