Ft. Ripley MN | Heifers are kept in their own lot, bred, and then turned out to pasture with the rest of the cows. From that point forward they are kept with the cows. No special groups… cows of all ages look fantastic.
You get the odd slip, late breed back and lost condition… you’re not gonna get around that with any age of cows.
In my opinion if they are gonna be a cow… shouldn’t they be a big girl and run with the big girls??
