SW Indiana | If I'm forced into a dry product here it is super u, and without a doubt for side dress season. Not sure if super u up front would be as beneficial though, as we usually catch more timely rains early in the season.
If I had to use dry preplant with no other options I'd use 1/2 agrotain on urea and 1/2 ESN, maybe even 3/4 ESN. Yes it costs a lot more, but it really isn't even available after a first rain like the treated urea would be. You need later N and ESN will hold off putting the N in the dirt.
