Athens, TX | I run 250 head, have 2 calves born blind in both eyes. One was a little small and seemed weak but nursed and otherwise appears healthy. Second calf born from 1st calf heifer, so different bulls, is normal size, good hair coat, otherwise is healthy but both eyes have cloudy corneas and seems blind. Any thoughts? They have salt and minerals year round, hay and pasture, supplemented with 20 percent cubes. Appreciate any input on cause or prevention for the future. | |
