Eastern NE KS | Years ago, I had a a calf with cloudy eyes. They cleared up in 3-4 weeks. I ensured his Mom was attentive and the calf nursed. He could see to some degree even early on. If your calves are totally blind, maybe some more care may be needed? Thinking about something to prevent the calf from getting lost from Mom.
Mine cleared so I did not pursue a veterinarian's advice or learned what caused the problem. I have a long, long tradition learned from Dad in the '70's of giving calves an injection of vitamin a,d & e at birth while tagging. Perhaps that helped mine. | |
