Winkler, Manitoba Canada | If you live in an area that has sub freezing temperatures and get snow or rain, the fan wheel can land up being way off balance. We were hauling out corn today and so I thought I would start the fan to blow the snow out of it. Wrong. Enough was stuck on the fan wheel as ice that it was immediately shaking/vibrating. Shut the fan down immediately. If that had been connected to an automatic fan control system that had attempted to run it under these conditions it would have destroyed the fan. | |
