Subject: RE: Digester that was rejected in wisconsin

Lot of the digesters going in around here or planned to go in the gas gets hauled to the "right" pipeline so goes to California for "green" energy, how much pollution and resources are wasted to produce "green" energy? Should get put in the closest pipeline no matter where it gets used. Don't get me wrong I am not against digesters, solar power etc. but it has to use common sense. Just like a few years ago there were grants to burn turkey manure for energy production so it got hauled to MN from Barron County WI while we trucked in fertilizer from lord knows where, heck same trucks may have hauled fertilizer in on the backhaul, burned a superior fertilizer and used a synthetic product tom replace it.
