That looks fantastic, unfortunately it’s about $1500. I already have the sand filter and will only have to buy the hose and fittings. I’m just curious if my well pumps enough volume to flush a sand filter.
Depends on the size of the sand filter. Is it a single filter or are there two filters in series? Two filters allows the flow out to stay steady while flushing the other. If it’s just one then it is not much.
What are you using for a pump? Many gas powered trash pumps will easily do 50-75 GPM at decent pressure. Most “consumer” grade sand filters aren’t doing that. |
