Arc pays on base acres
The very first year of the payment I didn't get what I thought was coming. After looking into it............since I had only planted something like 600 of my 800 corn base acres...........they limited my payment to only paying on the actual planted acres. They said that even though the program was tied to your base, and couldn't go over that amount..........you at least had to plant that much in order to receive the ARC payment. It was a pretty substantial amount of money back in that first year.
