Typically, with respect to Palisade... the only thing we agonize over, is when to apply. Applying Palisade during a cold spell is a no-no, in our opinion. The warmer, the better. Anything less than 60 for daily highs during application and soon thereafter... we apply half rate. With the other half of Palisade applied a week or so later.
Take some test strips to yield. I wouldn't be surprised you'll find a yield advantage to Palisade, even in the absence of excessive lodging.
