Probably yes, Timing the application in April is a challenge. Wait too long and the bean and corn planters are rolling and everything needs done the same day. Some years there is not enough rain in April to take it into the root zone. Apply it too soon is not good either.
We never use palisade. We spit the liquid N in 2 applications and have zero issues. I think application equipment is critical in not over applying N and laying the wheat over.
