Red sorrel is typically associated here with low pH and infertile soils and dry type soil (think sandy). That type of soil is predominate around here. Pivots typically go on better ground here because we can't always pump enough water on the poor ground to keep up in the middle of hell (whoops, I mean summer).

Mustard has adapted to live year around where it once died out with the heat. Now, it seems to be around all year. Roundup will kill the sorrel but mustard should have 2,4D with the RU to do an effective job. Here, RU, Valor and 2,4D is the mix of choice for all things burndown.
