Southwestern Minnesota | I guess if you don't trust your doctor then you should find another one that you do trust. It could be that with his family history of heart disease and the lab results that the doctor thought that the statin would have some protective effects as well. Maybe it wasn't a "knee jerk" reaction but rather an attempt to prevent something worse. His call and his health.
