We grow some oats for seed. Usually 31-33lbs. But I've heard if youre growing them for grain 32lb oats would be rejected because too light. Ive heard of horse feed plants in texas importing oats from Scandinavia to get test weights in the upper 40s


I've seen plenty of Canadian oats here that hit over 48#. The ones I raised were usually +40#. That's why I asked (plus usually just cleaned and ran with bin run oats for seed).
