Your new seed hybrids would be woefully behind in many things, starting with yield, agronomic characteristics, etc.
Those things take time, many years, large breeding program, wide area breeding and testing programs,
You would probably start with purchasing some 3rd string products from somebody.
And we haven't even started on talking about GMO traits. Those crosses have to come from the company
who controls the trait. |
