NS Canada | Does anyone keep a schrader valve plumbed right into a line so they can blow it out whenever they want? Or am I best to Tee the line with a plug and then swap plug for schrader valve only when needed? Would a valve hold up to constantly being exposed to water pressure?
Tee would be located right about the high point in my scenario. Meaning it may possibly hold an air bubble anyhow, but can't rely that it would. There would be a shutoff valve right before Tee to isolate this line. Getting tired of unhooking it each year, and then wondering when I should turn it back on in the spring to avoid too many freeze cycles. | |
