When you say one side is always off 2-3 inches do you mean one side has a 33" guess row and the other is 27"? or one side is 33" and other is 30"? Try picking the planter up and driving 100 feet while AutoTrac-ing for a couple passes. Measure the distance between the wheels on each pass. If its proper, then we know it drafts to one side when engaged in the ground. Also try driving back and forth on the same line. Do the tractor tires line up when driving each direction? If not it may need a better TCM calibration. If you are running a 3000 on SF1, I have seen those need multiple TCM calibrations throughout the day if the TCM is starting to go bad.

If you have a constant offset to one side of the planter, change the dimensions under the equipment in the monitor and the tractor will compensate. Just because it is square behind the tractor doesn't mean it pulls square when in the ground. I had a customer who didn't have 3 trash cleaners on the right side of the planter and it made his 24 row pull 10" to that side. He constantly had 20" and 40" guess rows. Until he fixed those we changed the dimensions and it was fine.

If those steps are not done above before you buy a new receiver you could be in the same position after the purchase.

Taking an hour to slow down and do a little calibration could save you hundreds or thousands of dollars.
