What is everyone using for data storage backup of computer files? A cloud based server or an external hard-drive? Looking for recommendations and personal pros/cons of what you're using. Thanks!
For a Windows OS, I use Casper to clone the hard drive. Three drives per computer: primary, internal backup, and external connected via USB. I clone to the internal backup drive weekly, and the external...not often enough. The external drives are stored offsite, and I clone because if the primary fails, I can be up and running in a few minutes and no need to waste a day re-installing and re-configuring everything. |
