This maybe should be elsewhere - like computers,  but here goes - I reckon more will see it here in Cafe!

We have a 55inch LG Television,  not a 'smart TV' - ie not computerised. 

It has recently taken to "freezing" - completely.   Whatever you are watching stops, no sound. Can't change channel with the remote, it won't turn the TV off, alter volume  - nothing!

The TV then goes off [blank], restarts and gets back to the program [free to air via an aerial, if that has any relevance!].   It may go 5 minutes, or 2, and do it again.  This only seems to begin after maybe three or four hours of viewing.

My guess is electronics - therefore not fixable!   Might contact the firm we purchased the TV off, and see what their comment is!

Any comments from my NAT help?
